- a survey of the building, in order to inform the mandatory Advisory Report
- preparation and lodgement of the (DEC) Certificate
- delivery of the DEC Certificate and Advisory Report in PDF format

Energy Usage
The occupier, in collaboration with the energy assessor, will need to provide actual meter readings or consignment notes for all fuels used in the buildings that are affected by the EPBD legislation. The certificate includes recommendations on how to improve the buildings energy efficiency. For more information see: www.communities.gov.uk
